Core aeration and over seeding service is extremely beneficial to your turf. Core aeration is the process of running core aerator machines over your turf which pulls out small plugs of soil and turf. We double aerate all turf areas to allow for the best outcome for your turf. Depending on turf and soil conditions, the plugs are generally 2 to 3 inches in length, and about half an inch in diameter. The benefits of core aeration is it allows water, nutrients, oxygen, to reach the root zone of the turf. Also, core aeration helps to break down the thatch layer. After double aerating all turf areas, we follow up with application of fescue seed, which has a 99 percent germination rate, and starter fertilizer.
